A Certification like CIPT is increasingly being specified in position descriptions and job announcements as desired and/or minimum qualifications to be met for such professionals. This certification examination review course is designed to prepare candidates for personal professional certification for the Certified International Professional Trainer (CIPT) sponsored by the American Certification Institute (ACT). Participants will receive additional certificate from ACI, besides ACAD's Professional Certificate - APC.

Module 2: Design of Content

  • Difference between pedagogy and andragogy 
  • Kolb''s Learning Style Inventory and its focus 
  • How to employ Maslo''s Hierarchy of Needs in developing and courses

Module 3: Training Implementation
  • Main advantages and disadvantages of the lecture method and other methods of instruction

  • Various instructional aids available and how to use them 
  • Use of presentation software to prepare color charts, flipcharts, and 
  • Proper ratio of instructor preparation to delivery time 

Module 4: Evaluation
  • Various stakeholders involved in training evaluation 
  • Reasons why organizations often fail to conduct training evaluations 
  • When to conduct training evaluations 
  • Most effective training evaluation method 
  • Importance of performing evaluations frequently during a course 
  • Reason why multiple observations are used in recording a task or activity 
during needs assessment and evaluation 
  • How trainers improve validity and statistical significance of their exams and 
other evaluations
