This Low Voltage Authorized Professional Course has been developed to enable competent electrical staff & Maintenance Electricians handling low-voltage electrical systems and seeking an authorized Person (supervisory) role within an organization, to work safely in accordance with Safe Working Practices when planning to carry out maintenance and repairs on a low-voltage electrical system. It is an open course that covers all the key principles and procedures to ensure you can do this safely and competently. Participants will learn a set of processes and procedures that encompass all the relevant regulations which can then be applied within your day to day role and made specific to your organization.

What Is The Training Course Methodology?
This training methodology illustrates the concepts involved in the above areas through practical consideration of actual real-life problems, as well as explanation of concepts by experts in area using video projectors and computer aided case studies based on practical applications. Participants will solve their system problem, where the trainee’s try to apply the skills learnt with guidance from our specialized experts. ACAD will provide participants a comprehensive assessment on the problems solved using the skills acquired in the training course.

What Are The Training Course Objectives?
This is an advanced training course aimed at experienced electricians/engineers who are required to carry out switching operations for the safe isolation and de-isolation of low voltage power systems up to 1000V. Candidates will be introduced to the safe operation procedures including lockout/tagout, risk assessment and the issue and control of safety documentation. The course includes several practical sessions on a wide range of industrial power installations as well as the preparation of Task Risk Assessments. This course is intended to enhance candidates' knowledge of statutory regulations, codes of practice, safe procedures and technical aspects of low voltage power systems.
