Participants attending the program will learn about air, water and soil pollution. He understands the methods used for industrial water treatments ( physical, chemical and biological water treatment) especially oily water treatments. Air pollution control will be understood.

Module 3: Oily Water Treatment

  • Other modified oil/ water separators

Module 4: Sludge Treatment and Disposal

  • Sludge characteristics
  • Sludge conditionings
  • Thickening of sludge
  • Dewatering of sludge
  • Oil and hazardous waste separarion from sludge
  • Sludge disposal

Target Audience

The course is designed for graduate engineers and supervisory staff involved in process technical departments of refineries, petrochemical plants and production oil companies.
