This 18-Hours workshop is an entry level training designed especially for beginners to help them get their work done with the tools of Word, with not only the basics, but also the powerful tools that have become essential in the regular tasks of today’s work. This includes writing, formatting text, paragraphs, and pages, adding other elements to the documents, in addition to performing mail merge.
Prerequisite:
Attendees need to have good practical knowledge in using computers and MS Windows operating system.
The training is aimed at business users, admins, and all people who want to learn the Word basics and powerful tools and integrate them in their work.

Module 1: Discovering Microsoft Office and MS Word Environment
Module 2: Creating and saving documents
Module 3: Writing and formatting text
Module 4: Formatting Paragraphs
Module 5: Using pictures, illustrations and other elements
Module 6: Using tables in MS Word
Module 7: Using basic references and review tools
Module 8: Page setup and printing
Module 9: Performing mail merge operations
Outline is subject to be customized including several hands on tasks that fits in the basic needs of the attendees
Hands-on Tasks:
Bring your own laptop to run and follow up the exercises and tasks provided by the instructor. To be sure that you can perform all tasks, the most recent version of MS Office is required. The outline and hands-on tasks can be customized to fit the version you use in your company.
Instructor:
Ayman Hassan has been working with MS Office since early 2000s. He used the different versions of the software starting with Office 2000 up to Office 2016. He delivered courses on MS Office using Office 2007 and all later versions to wide range of audiences including HR managers, seniors and specialists, senior accountants and financial managers, admins, Engineers, teachers, and students.
