This course discusses the hazardous aspects of the petroleum industry with specific focuses on accidents & fire fighting. It provides clear & detailed information about the fire chemistry, burning characteristics & how to be prevented & be prepared for a fire before it occurs. The course discusses how to control accidents when handling petroleum products as well as safe laboratory operating procedures. Overall, the course provides adequate training to make petroleum industry employees aware of hazardous areas, materials & operations, during both normal & emergency situations.
