Transformer Testing & Maintenance

Code : E/64

Why Attend This Training Course?

Participants will learn safe and proper installation, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting and testing procedures on power transformers used in commercial and industrial power distribution systems and receive instruction on the filtering and drying out process to be performed on transformers. Larger power transformers used in utility applications are also covered. This course uses up-to-date test equipment and procedures for evaluating the condition of a transformer. Test results can provide predictive data which will guide maintenance activities and help to prevent catastrophic failure that may damage downstream equipment and endanger personnel. ACAD is ready to help design this program for you and deliver it on your premises, tailored to your specific equipment and requirements.

What Is The Training Course Methodology?

This training methodology illustrates the concepts involved in the above areas through practical consideration of actual real-life problems, as well as explanation of concepts by experts in area using video projectors and computer aided case studies based on practical applications. Participants will solve their system problem, where the trainee’s try to apply the skills learnt with guidance from our specialized experts. ACAD will provide participants a comprehensive assessment on the problems solved using the skills acquired in the training course.

Who Should Attend This Training Course?
