Course Objectives

This course discusses the hazardous aspects of the petroleum industry with specific focuses on accidents & fire fighting. It provides clear & detailed information about the fire chemistry, burning characteristics & how to be prevented & be prepared for a fire before it occurs. The course discusses how to control accidents when handling petroleum products as well as safe laboratory operating procedures.
